She will pull through this. She's still preforming, singing, dancing and acting. Just bad medicine.

I don't know. It must be pretty serious if she's cancelling her schedule for the next 3 months.
Also, the "bad medicine" thing could just be the story they're sending out right now because they don't want to release the real info yet.

Well, she is 80. I supose it takes time to recover. At least I hope she will be fine. I've always liked her. Tammy tell me true.

The Ghost Of Eddie Fisher called -- he's willing to re-marry her. While he's in contact, maybe he should be asked look for the remains of Carrie's career too.

For the answer to that, all you need to do is to look deep into the bottom of an empty vodka bottle.

The number 2 person on America's "Why are they Famous?" list (right behind Charo) is dead. According to the article he is "Legendary" I think that is a reference to the existence of his career.

I hate when they misuse the word "legendary" in obits. King Arthur was legendary. Robin Hood was legendary. I'm pretty sure Gary Collins was an actual person.

Big Tex (no relation) has been a Texas icon since before I was born. He started out life in the 1940s as a huge Santa Claus in the east Texas town of Kerens. The State Fair of Texas bought him in 1952 for a few hundred bucks and gave him a ch-ch-change of clothes. He moved his mouth and talked and welcomed people to the fair and made announcements. He will be back.

George McGovern has moved on. Although I didn't agree with many of his policy prescriptions, he was a standup guy and perhaps even an honest politician.

Big Tex left a suicide note:
I've been a Dallas Cowboys fan for decades and can't take it anymore.

Did he say wither it was Jerry Jones or Tony Romo that lead him to his suicide?

Did he say wither it was Jerry Jones or Tony Romo that lead him to his suicide? One's as bad as the other. Romo can't play. Jones fired his "best friend" who was doing a superb job and was popular with the fans over some stupid bar room argument that was best forgotten the next morning. The Cowboys have lost half of their fans.

They nearly took that game from the Giants yesterday; refs made the right call, but it was still a tough loss for them.

It might seem like an odd couple, but Royal and Willie Nelson have been best of friends since the late 1950s. I was in Royal's home in the 80s and Willie had his own room in the house. He and members of his band crashed there often.
