I have to say, the Steelers are giving the Jets every opportunity to get back in the game.

Tony Bourdain's "No Reservations" is on the Travel Channel tonight @ 10PM Eastern. At least there something I can salvage from this weekend.

Unfortunately youve been pulling that Band Aid off REALLY SLOW. Better to rip it off and get the pain over with... lots of teams to choose from that fit that category

The Turkish host/escort is cute and I didn't thing Turkey as so modern and accepting for a muslim country.

The Jets put on a good fight in the second half and almost pulled it off. Steelers better play 60 minutes of football against Green Bay or it will be a long flight home.
Also the Jets need to get a playoff game in their own stadium.
Sorry Beeb maybe next year.

Hey at least they have given it a shot the last two years. You could be like the Lions and never even gotten to a conference championship game.

I hate the Steelers since they have always been a rival for the Raiders of 70's and 80's so I am going to say. Packers 27 Steelers 21

The Turkish host/escort is cute and I didn't thing Turkey as so modern and accepting for a muslim country. Now THAT is a classic TNMC non-sequitur. BTW- Turkey is a great nation, very modern and strives against long odds to stay a secular government. Our daughters best friend in high school was Turkish. Her family invited Heather to spend 3 weeks in Istanbul the summer when she 16. She loved it, the cultural experience, the people of Turkey, and never felt threatened in the least.

Hey at least they have given it a shot the last two years. You could be like the Lions and never even gotten to a conference championship game. Joe, I think the "maybe next year" line is a little optimistic given: 1. I expect there to be a lock-out next season that could potentially wipe-out the entire schedule, including the Super Bowl and 2. I also anticipate that there are going to be so many roster ch-ch-changes on the Jets for the next season (if there is one) that their playoff chances will be greatly diminished.

BTW -- When are we going out for a premium scotch?

Quite frankly, I'm spent after that AFC Championship game. I'll watch the Super Bowl, but my level of interest isn't as high as it normally is.

The Packers take the trophy back to Title Town. Great game. The Steelers gave the game away in the first quarter.
The question is. Is this the last game that we will see for sometime?

Rothensberger gave the game to the Packers. That one pick that was run back for a TD was the difference in the game.
And yes its probably going to be a long off season

TV ads were not overly interesting, though I did like the Eminem Chrysler ad promoting Detroit and the Passat ad with the little kid in the Darth Vader outfit.
The half time show was BORING, no nip slips in sight

Is this the last game that we will see for sometime? I think so. And if there's no Super Bowl next year, that could wind up having some serious lawsuits with the network covering the game and the team whose stadium is hosting the game.

Not 100% sure, but I think Indianapolis has the game next year
