If a 7-9 team wins the Super Bowl they will have their league parity and they can stick it in their ass.
I always like a league with your 15-1 teams and your 1-15 teams. Thats league parity in my book.

If there is a lock out here soon they won't have to worry about league parity.

Savor the remaining games... it could be a long long long off season.

If they have a long strike it could hurt the NFL like the MLB strike of 1994-95. It took MLB 10 years or better to get over that strike. Hell I didn't strat watching baseball again until 2007.

Actually, MLB recovered sooner than that, as far as fan following was concerned; by 1998, people were getting excited about it again in part because of Sosa & McGwire chasing the single season HR record ... unfortunately, we later found out that this was chemically enhanced, but people didn't know it at the time and no one questioned it because it was the first time in a long while that baseball was fun again.

BAL vs. PITT: Flacco will get bitch-slapped for this one. Gotta go down as one of the Ravens' worst losses E V E R!
======
Edited: next week for AFC Championship is NE vs. PITT ... now *that* will be a good one!

Atlanta got one big owie piled on them last night. I figured it would be a good game with both teams looking to prove themselves, by the end of the game with all the GB fans filling in the good seats as the Falcon fans left, the Ghost of Farves Past was formally, and finally exorcised.

The Falcon's aren't playing TODAY? They sure seemed to think the game was today, cause they weren't ready to play football last night... what a disgrace.

Green Bay kicked ass and took names. Atlanta had no idea what hit them yesterday.
Looks like Bears and Packers for the NFC championship next week. Could be a real good game.

Packers-Bears... that game, on the field, is going to be personal. in the stands, its going to be a LOT more than personal. This just isnt the NFC title game, its the Lake Michigan title game.

Hey Beeb this is just like the SF Giants season for us. They can't win this one and they did.
The Steelers will be tough but the Jets have the momentum on their side.

Its sure looking that way. How the hell do the Jets recover from the last 2 minutes of the first half?

The Jets may be drafting fans out of the stands, theyre dropping like flies out there.

Jets did not show up tonight. This is a statement game by Pitt after they lost to Jets last month. Jets offense is not explosive enough to be able to come back in 2nd half.

Tough to score when you cant control possession. Jets might be able to adjust during the half but those two late Pitt TD's made it a pretty deep hole to get out of. If the Jets were down 10-3 Id say they have a chance... 24-3, its not impossible but I cant see it happening.
I wonder whats on the Food Network

Well, the 2nd half kickoff return does not show a lot of promise for the Jets
