I might have included them if they had continued to lose like they did at first. They have a little win streak going, but if they and the Angels don't make the playoff they will be the bust of the year.

Didn't pay much attention to them. Keeping an eye on the Dodgers and the D'backs.

The Rays are looking pretty good thus far, sitting atop the East. We have tickets tonight and Wednesday. I was there last Thursday when Allen hit a walkoff 2 run homer in the 9th. THAT was BEAUTIFUL!!

Pujols may not be translating well in the AL so far, but Prince Fielder is hitting 310 with a 390 on base % so far for Detroit.

Right now Fielder looks like the better off season deal.

Rays win again tonight and for only the 4th time in past 25 years for any team are 12 - 1 at home, not to mention we have the best record in baseball at the moment! GO RAYS!!

Looking like the Yanks' Mariano Rivera may be forced into an early retirement.

Watched the video and after my knee injury last year, I felt the pain!! Who would have figured that shaggin balls would take you out like that.
BTW- this was exactly what killed the career of Mark "The Bird" Fydrich 35 or so years ago, he too was just tossing balls in the outfield and tripped on a divot.

That's why I don't think Mo will come back after this -- he's in his early 40's now, Bird was still a kid at the time. Too bad -- Mo hinted at his retirement at the end of this season, but no one wanted to see him go out like this.

This is crying shame. What a way to end one of the greatest pitching careers in the history of MLB.

4 long balls for Josh Hamilton tonight and none of them cheap shots. Only the 16th person in MLB history to do that.

I want to see how long Baltimore can stay in this race. The Ranger have given them an old fashion ass kicking the last two nights.

Josh hamilton 18 homers already this year. On track for 85. Can he do it.
I would love for hime to hit at least 74 and remove that asshole Bonds from the record book.

Still can't believe the amount of erros this year. Bruce Bochy is about to shoot himself.
Giants 46 games played 49 errors. WTF is going on.

and once again Detroit burns things up in spring training, and go mediocre when the real thing starts.
If there is any justice in baseball, there should be a LOT of new faces in this year's All Star game.

I'm shocked that it's Memorial Day and the Mets are over 500.

I think that NY in general gets an annual allotment of wins, since the Yankees arent grabbing them all, the Mets can pick a few up off the ground.

Well, I guess Johan Santana has recovered from his arm surgery -- 1st no-no in the 50 year history of the Mets. As a lifetime fan, I never thought I would live to see this day.
