Babe Ruth was a fat fuck with terrible form and a drunk. Sometimes it doesn't matter.

Congratulations, Joe -- knowing what a loyal fan you are of The Oakland Athletics, I'm sure you must be proud that they not only won the World Series, but took it in a sweep!
Woo-Hoo!
Will you be going down to Alameda County for the victory parade?

All of this hostility will result in one thing: Sandoval will be MVP of the World Series. Hey, I missed the World Series MVP presentation. Anyone know who won it?

Sorry for the sweep Gordon, but I think that 5 day layoff killed the Tigers.

Hey Beeb. see if the Mets will make you their GM for 10 minutes and I will see if the Giants will make me GM for 10 minutes and I will trade you Pablo Sandoval straight up. He's the MVP of the 2012 WS for David Wright. Sounds like a hell of a deal to me.

Just think of how many millions MLB lost because of a 4 game sweep.

Sorry for the sweep Gordon, but I think that 5 day layoff killed the Tigers. No question. The last four teams to sweep the league championship series have lost the World Series... Seems like it might be a good idea to throw a game instead of taking the long layoff.

Should Thole get a small slice of that Cy? The true secret to a successful kballer is having a good catcher.

Very true, but also, unlike knuckleballers I've seen over the years, Dickey really learned how to have some extent of control over his pitches. There have been some I've seen -- maybe moreso Charlie Hough than someone like Wilbur Wood -- that have thrown it with very little idea where it would go.

MVP"s Cabrera, and Posey as expected. Good choices.
Now let the free agency bidding get on it's way.

If Cabrera had not gotten the Triple Crown, OR if Detroit had not made the playoffs, Trout would have gotten the AL MVP, or at least made it a lot closer.
Trout will be worth careful study next year, sophomore jinx has to be avoided. If he can follow up his rookie season with similar numbers, the MVP is his next year.

I am sure that helped Cabrera.
I say the same about Posey. If Kemp wouldn't of missed because of injury and Braun would have had the doping test hanging over his head either one of them might have won.
