The Giants are ready. Here is their theme for the NLCS.

2 games down in the ALCS & NLCS and both are tied at 1-1. Series move on to New York and San Francisco for 3 games in each city. So far all four games have been good to watch. Looks like more great baseball on the way.

Cliff Lee will be the turning point in the series. Yanks won 1st game only after coming back from a major deficit. Pitching let them down again in game 2 but the hitting couldn't bail them out this time.

Giants go up 2-1 over the Fighting Phillies.
The big surprise is that the Yankees are down 3-1. If they can win the last game at home they just might beat Texas who has only won one game at home during the playoffs.

You've gotta be kiddin' me about the Yanks! This is no surprise at all. They played lousy in September and the only reason they advanced to the ALCS is because the Twins are spooked by them -- it's more of a psychological thing than anything else. The Twins are just convinced they can't be the Yanks. Not sure if Texas will win this afternoon -- they may take it in game 6 back home in Arlington.

Well, you're up 3-1 now, Joseph. Buy those World Series tickets yet?

Edited to add: BTW ... What a GREAT game!

Was a great game. No I am not buying any tickets. It's cheaper and easier to watch the series from home. However I am not counting my chickens just yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need 27 more outs in our favor.
Oh buy the way the Yanks are back in it.

Oh buy the way the Yanks are back in it. Don't be fooled -- that was a death rattle. The patient will be taken off life support on Friday.

Phils got a real nice gift with that foul bunt of Halladay's in the third. That was really the game winner for them.

Well half of the series is in. I think at this time with the way they have been playing Texas could be the team to beat.

Striking out Jeter to end the game was perfect

They have lots of issues to deal with in the off season. If they are even competitive next year that would be surprising. Yet they are still the New York Yankees.

I think at this time with the way they have been playing Texas could be the team to beat. If any team is on The Magic Carpet Ride this year, it is The Rangers.
