Regrettably, this guy wasnt famous enough to come to our attention because I think he was the worlds ultimate Dead Pool sucker bet that finally paid off. He was the definitive proof that Atomic Bombs kill people.

Very true Nola, but signing on as Sterns sidekick is probably more of a cry for help than a legitimate suicide attempt, except in his case after such prolonged exposure.

A while back, I wrote a review of his autobiography ( here) and based on his history, this guy was long overdue to time-out.

He stabbed himself nine times. Nine Times!! That's determination. He tried to turn himself into a freakin' golf course!

If I remember correct, Frank Nitti (Al Capone's successor) shot himself in the head three times. He didn't want to go back to prison, as he suffered from severe claustrophobia!

Very impressive that he was able to fire off a couple of extra rounds.

He was a fucking Italian. That's why it took him 3 shots to kill himself. Joe (wondering how many Italian does it take to kill yourself?)

(wondering how many Italian does it take to kill yourself?) 3. One to do the job, one to bury the body and a third to pay off the cop who loaned you the gun.

One to hold the bullet, and two to hurl the victim at it.

I had him on my short list this year but took him back off cause I thought it was just wishful thinking. We can add 'suicide' as something else he sucks at.

I don't know about that. Rigor peaks at 12 hours, then dissipates by 72 hours after death.

Hmmm.... there could be something to this. DH was the 36th most picked celebrity in this year's Stiffs.com list (right between Bryant Gumbel and Abe Vigoda), out of about a thousand total.
Time to fit him for a Blue Velvet shroud......
