Over the past month I have noticed the "Most Recent Posts" count has slowly crept from 25 to 31 (as of today). While I certainly appreciate having more posts in there, especially first thing in the morning when I log on to find that Gordon and Simon have been chatting/punning up a storm, I'm curious if this is an intentional ch-ch-change on the part of our fearless leader to see if anyone will notice?

I was wondering when someone would notice.

I was wondering when someone would notice. I noticed at 27, but I thought..."was it really only 25 before, or am I just misremembering?" Then at 29 I thought "Okay.........so I didn't imagine it". But at 31 I thought "Hey, maybe I'll get some cheese if I nibble on this!" Of the serious regulars (and while I don't post as much as some, I do consider myself a serious regular), I might be the only one who utilizes that part of the board. Zilla (who almost sent this as a private message originally, but then decided against it)

Speaking of board ch-ch-changes, has anyone else noticed a ch-ch-change in how the Unread Posts are flagged?
It used to be, if I posted on a thread, then went to the thread listing for that forum, the thread would be shown as having been read. But in the last week or so, after posting on a thread, I see the famous blue dot indicating that it has new posts. The latest post, however, is still mine.
Anyone else notice this? Or is it just me?

I rarely use this feature so I hadn't noticed. On the few occasions I've used it it's been to find a recent post that I then can't find again when I've wanted to go back to it. Simon

I find it rather annoying actually, I click on the thread to see what new witty post is there, only to find its just my own crap... not unlike falling victim to the flaming bag of poo.

Maybe ProBoards wants to rub our noses in the fact that we aren't quite as clever as we think we are.......Jake
