Anyone been there? Some Yoga guru is there in October and Rhonda wants to check it out. We've never been. I know it won't be Hedo, but still could be fun.

Lot's of gambling and crime, kinda on the expensive side, that's what the boat folks say about it.

Looks like they have a nice golf course there, so I can do that while Rhonda does the Yoga thing. We'll see. I've never heard much about it so will have to check some more.

I've been told good things about it including being expensive. The pictures I saw showed nice beaches.

Bob, I do know that its a diving hot spot.. pack your beany That's what I hear. I've yet to get certified, so maybe I'll just stick with the snorkel for now. Rhonda just informed me that she made the reservations so I guess we're off. Now, I've got to find something to do while she is doing the yoga thing everyday. Since I've recently re-taken up golf and playing quite a bit, I think I'll take the clubs along and check this place out. It's on the main island you fly into and we're staying on a different one, which they say is about a 30 minute boat ride, but that's OK. I better get my balls cleaned up before I go. I hate playing with dirty balls. .............Bob

Those are some 'spensive greens fees, for me about $1 per shot, though I may hit three balls off of each tee and play all three to get that down even further... I know what you mean about playing with dirty balls, especially tough to get those grass stains out.

Youse guys are reminding me of the drunken pinhead who tried to wash his gonads in a golf-course ball washer. Fell over and lost both of them! I read about him because he was a Darwin Award nominee. One of the few who didn't die, but still met the requirements because he took himself out of the gene pool......Jake

You all know that years ago a sports writer asked Mrs. Arnold Palmer why her husband was such a great golfer. She replied" Well before each round I kiss his balls and it makes his putter straight"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told that joke to Denice one time as I was leaving to play a round trying to make a hint. All I got in return was the one finger bye-bye salute.

I think I mentioned before that I was playing golf with my brother and sister-in-law earlier this summer up in South Dakota and their 18 year old daughter was riding along in the cart. She asked her dad why he washed his balls so much (cleaned it almost every time before teeing off) and he replied, "Because I can't get my dick in there!"
She yelled, "I've been scarred for life!"
I got a big kick out'a that!! ;D

I know what you mean about playing with dirty balls, especially tough to get those grass stains out. I guess when you're about the only game in town, you can charge those fees!! There is a very short 9 hole course on the island as well, from what I've learned. Some courses are damned expensive these days. For my 50th birthday, Rhonda took me to Kiawah Island in South Carolina where I played the famous Ocean Course. After all was said and done, it cost about $350 dollars for those 18 holes. I certainly wouldn't have picked that, but it was a special occasion. As I remember, I spent most of the time cussing at myself . . . could have done that for free!! I didn't play worth shit that day and had a caddie along as well . . . made me nervous, watching me and all. I've busted 80 several times recently including a 79 today in spite of missing two putts less than two feet each. If the lawyering business doesn't pick up soon, I'm going to join the senior tour, win one time then retire. Shit . . . I can dream, can't I? ?? ;D ;D I'm pretty athletic, or at least used to be before Rhonda fattened me up about 20 lbs, but even on the best days can only hit my drives about 270 yards AT BEST (average about 250) . . . with a dry day and roll, a bit more. We don't get more than 10, maybe 15 yard rolls on the grass here in Florida . . . not like up north. Don't know why . . . something funny about the grass. How the fuck these guys blow it past 340 yards or more is WAY beyond me!! That is a game I am not familiar with. ............Bob

I could be wrong but wasn't the golfer pro Greg Norman's nickname "Great White"?

OK . . . now I understand. Norman is called the "shark" but I don't know about "Great White." Could be . . . . it makes sense since he's from "down under."
