As you guys know I'm a college football fan so heres the first poll.
The power rankings are also out, there are some differences but not much.
The AP isn't out yet.

Nebraska ranked below Boise State, oh how the mighty have fallen. Wisconsin at 12 gives hope for a Rose Bowl appearance if Ohio State is otherwise occupied.

I hope the 2008 college football season is as crazy as 2007 was.
OSU has a power house team, but Wisconsin is really good and has OSU at home. It's time for the Badgers to step up and knock the Buckeyes from their Big 10 perch.
OSU also has to play USC this year.

They still need a playoff system.

Yep!
Edited: ... and this year may be one of those years when its obvious. Six teams on that list have #1 votes and Georgia only has about 1/3 of those... No overwhelming #1 choice, I sense a split decision coming up in January.

Part of the reason I'm marrying Wayne is because he only watches one sport for one day per year: the Indy 500--he used to be a mechanic for race cars.
I only accidentally came onto this sports board because I saw the word POLL and forgot to check which forum it was in before I clicked it. I promise not to make it a regular error.

What are the other reasons you are marrying him? Do tell! We ALL want to know ever so desperately! Part of the reason I'm marrying Wayne is because he only watches one sport for one day per year: the Indy 500--he used to be a mechanic for race cars. So, basically, you don't particularly like men who have masculine qualities, such as following sports? Thanks for sharing! I only accidentally came onto this sports board because I saw the word POLL and forgot to check which forum it was in before I clicked it. I promise not to make it a regular error. A good way to avoid that error again would be to push the Delete Account button in your profile. Since the 1950's, no school has ever won the Big 10 three times in a row. OSU has not beat Wisconsin in back to back years since the early 90's, and since 2004, Wisconsin is 25-1 at home.

I'll be watching this game and pulling hard for the Badgers. It's time for a different Big 10 Champ. I'll be pulling for Missouri to win the Big 12 over Oklahoma, but I ain't holding my breath either. I don't see anyone knocking off USC in the Pac 10, they are a super power in a weak conference. The same for West Virginia in the Big East. Georgia has a bitch of a schedule and if they go 12-0 they should get the BCS trophy without another game, let 2 and 3 play to see who is going to be # 2. ;D

As defending National Champion we like our starting postion at #6. And we will glady welcome #1 Georgia to Baton Rouge for a most excellent game of football.

I have a good friend in Baton Rouge who is a major LSU fan and he's expecting a wild Saturday night when Gawga shows up but he's expecting an earthquake when Saban shows up with Bama.
