FINALLY -- the truth about Absinthe! Thanks to science, we now have proof it wasn't the wormwood content that made folks nutty -- it was ... [duh] the alcohol content[/duh]!

FWIW, did a little "at home" brunch today and made myself one of Hemingway's (allegedly) favorite cocktails, "Death In The Afternoon" (after his book of the same name). YOWZAH! What a punch-in-the-face that one is!

Maybe Wednesday. BTW, a useful tip -- Google is your FRIEND! Also, I would recommend the Mr. Boston guide -- a recipe book on mixing various cocktails which I have found useful. === Edited to add: If you take a taste and find it too bitter (due to the absinthe), add some some sugar and stir a bit.
