Okay, I know some of you are technical genius with computers. As long as I can run a few programs I can do fine. He's my question.
I had my computer at the ranch crash big time. Whole hard drive went bye-bye. Lucky I had backed up my info from my programs to a memory stick but I lost all the programs.
Know that I have a new hard drive and will be spending hours reloading programs, I went to set up and external drive also. What is the best way to transfer the date from the internal drive to the external drive?
In return for your info, if any of you ever need technical information on a grape harvester I would be ahppy to help. ;D
Joe.

The cheap (and relatively easy) way would be Windows Backup (Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools).

Joe, if you are talking about data files, all you need to do is make sure they are all stored under one top directory. Then you can drag and drop that directory to the external drive. If you do it again, it will ask if you want to replace files with the same name; just pick "yes to all."

if any of you ever need technical information on a grape harvester I would be ahppy to help. ;D Which grape harvester would you recommend for minimizing spillage and reducing vine and trellis damage? The New Holland SB65 perhaps? Or maybe the Quantum Grape Harvester, and if so would you order it with the optional rotary pulsator and demoger? Thanks in advance for your help. Simon

Definitely not the Holland SB65; it has a defective squabulator. -- HedoGrapeMaster Bukkake

I'd heard that too, but the with the shakers being virtually parallel, forming a longer processing area, thus allowing for a significant increase in machine travel speed with lower frequency and thus fewer shaking pulses, was a real selling point for me.

See all specifications below. Will do everything you want for about $50,000 less than the two you mentioned. No rotary pulsator, they have not yet perfected one to pick like the shakers units. The demoger should be part of the fan system and should not be a option. Joe www.oxbocorp.com/images/3009features1.jpg

Thanks Joe, that will be a great help for when I go grave harvester shopping this afternoon. I would call Simon a sadistic beast and a necrophiliac for this comment, but that would be beating a dead horse.

...
For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side Of my darling—my darling—my life and my bride, In her sepulcher there by the sea, In her tomb by the sounding sea.
