The page won't load and since it might be bouncing and jiggling chicks, I'll try on and off all morning.

They are in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Did you struggle to understand the woman? I didn't find it easy to catch what she was saying.

Simon no, i understood them both clearly. i didn't think the newscast reader had the same accent she did though. you're saying his accent is a northern ireland one? Zilla (not trying to be a PITA, just making sure you understand my question and i understand your answer)

"finding the goings quite slow, but things were about to pick up"
the dude sounds like he has the same accent as Carol Smillie, and i read that she is scottish. She doesn'tsound like the few scots i know though.
Zilla (but maybe i'm NOT hearing a difference)

I'm no expert but I would guess that they are just different dialects of the Northern Ireland accent.

She doesn'tsound like the few scots i know though Carol Smillie is definately Scottish, and in Scotland, like Ireland, you will find numerous different dialects. What do you know Carol Smillie from? I'm surprised that her 'fame' extends beyond these shores... Simon

So you'll know our celebrity chefs such as Jaime Oliver, Gary Rhodes etc? Simon Jaime, yes. Gary Rhodes doesn't sound familiar to me, nor does he look overly familiar to me from his website. he must come on when i am sucked in by something else Zilla (who has never been the sort of person to have a tv on just for background noise. it is a drug i do not seem to be able to resist, so i limit my chances for complete addiction)

I love different accents, they add a certain sexiness. When I hear British women talk I get all tingly. Some girl at Hedo told me she loved New York accents and I was surprised. It's not silky and gentle but I didn't care. I'd talk backward in Cantonese to be surrounded by naked women.

Nothing beats a hot chick with an accent from Newcastle in the north east of England... or as I'd have said it if I wasn't concerned about being understood 'a fit lass with a Geordie accent.'
