Recently I wanted to burn some videos I had on my hard drive to a DVD that would play in my DVD player hooked to my TV. At first, I thought this would be simple, since I have a DVD burner in my computer. However, the DVDs would not play in the DVD player. Since I'm a cheap bastard, I didn't want to fork over $$ for some fancy Video editing program. After some research, I found this cool program (it's FREE!) called DVD Flick that will take videos in most any format and convert them to a DVD compatible format, then burn the video to a DVD that will play in my player!! MOST COOL!! I also found ImgBurn, which is another utility embedded in DVD flick that you can use to make back-up copies of DVDs, image files, etc and also burn videos to DVD. If you're looking for a cheap solution to putting all those videos you've downloaded from the 'net onto a DVD that will play on your DVD player, give these programs a try.
