GOTTCHA!!!! Now just how many of you actually bristled when you saw that topic heading? C'mon, be honest! LOL Now that I've got your attention, how the hell do you ch-ch-change Avatars? I have some on my hard drive I want to try and I can't find an "upload feature". I've checked the appropriate box but nothing appears to help point in the direction of my hard drive.

I think it has to come from a URL, so it must be on a web page.

You have to upload whatever you want your avatar to be to your personal web page. It needs to be a new page with that item only then you put the http address in the appropriate box when ch-ch-changing your avatar.

Hi Renee - as said, you have to upload it to a web address.
Some folks have had luck using their Yahoo profile picture. Others have not.
Or, you can email a picture to me and I can store it on my website (on a private, non-viewable page) and link it to your profile from there.
Good luck!.......Jake
P.S. - No thongs allowed.

Ian... Do you have a name to go with your quotation about life?? He/she is my current hero. Gordon I did a Google search, and only came up with other forums where folks used the same quote. No one cited the source. I LOVE IT!!! ;D ..........Bob

I don't know if it's true, but LIFE'S JOURNEY is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy sh*t, what a ride!" - Mavis Leyrer age 83 according to this site: DAMN!!! Don't GOOGLE know SH*T and CRAP are the same thing!? ;D

You got it right Jake because I did a Mavis Leyrer search and came up with 450 different web sites attributing that quote to her. Ian We're getting way off topic here!
