Saturn's moon Titan is looking extremely interesting based on the brand new images from the Huygens probe. It looks like a water generated landscape in some images, but its a couple hundred degrees below zero. Have a look www.esa.int/SPECIALS/Cassini-Huygens/index.htmlGordon

Dang I was just lookin' at those images just before coming here. Ya' know, landing on the Earth's moon was pretty cool! But landing on TITAN is something else indeed! I'm surprised it didn't get more press. Then again, folks don't get excited about this stuff like we used to. I remember when I was about 8 years old, lookin' through a 8 inch reflector telescope my Dad had built, ground the mirror, all that stuff, when I *FIRST* saw Saturn. I got so damn excited I flew off the stepladder I needed to see the eyepiece, ran in to tell my Mom, then couldn't hardly find the dang planet again when I got back to the 'scope. My my.....we've come a long ways! ...........Bob

Bob
That sounds like something that would happen to me. I remember the first time I showed my daughter Saturn (I have a 6 inch reflector), her reaction way back then was just about the same, except that I managed to keep the telescope in place.
No doubt the Huygen images are going to keep some scientists going for some time. Personally I am looking forward to seeing more.
