Got the daughters belongings packed. The movers arrive first thing in the morning. After they leave I drive north with her cat and greet the movers when they get there.
She left on the Amtrak a couple hours back and will Metro to her apt.
So far so good.
(Translation for Gary, I took the bus, the food is ok, there seem to be enough towels, jerk chicken has been on time and plentiful, and my hidden beach cam is working like a champ)

Off to NYC tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn. Not bringing the laptop, but I may check in from the netbook or the phone. Otherwise, see you next Tuesday (as John Landis would say).

I was up at the crack of dawn once -- and her husband wasn't too happy about it, either.

I'm not serving breakfast, but I'll let them use the toilet -- so let's call it BB's B&BM.

Hell, give them the breakfast, the dungeon AND the toilet BB's BMBDSMB&B
Edited: Based on the quality og the breakfast there might be the need for a second trip to the toilet, therefore BB's BMBDSMB&BBM

Well hell I am out of here for 10 days first thing on Wednesday. We are off to the great northwest state of Oregon. Never have been there so we have set our sights on the city of Salem.
Denice and I went out about a month ago and bought a travel trailer. Yes I said TRAVEL TRAILER, and no I have not been drinking. Something we have talked about in the past but never really got serious about.
So the Griswold's are off and hopefully this adventure we not go as sadly as theirs did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have wifi at the park so I just might send you guys some pictures.
Stay out of trouble and will see you in 10.

Enjoy your vacation Joe, and remember to pull over every few minutes to let the miles of traffic behind you on those two lane roads pass in safety

You will have fun with that. Try to find the "I Love Lucy" episode about the trailer. The Pacific coast going north from your place is beautiful country.

There was a movie called "The Long, Long Trailer" that Desi Arnaz & Lucille Ball did back in the '50's -- is that what you're referring to?

First day complete. We made it to Redding, CA with no problems.
We are spending the night at the Red Lion Inn since we don't want to do all the hook ups for one night. In the Morning we will be off to Salem about 350 miles from Redding.
Denice and I were talking about the Lucy movie the other night. I told her she couldn't put any rocks in the trailer.
Once we get there and set up hopefully I will get some picture and open a new thread to let you all see what's going on.
