One of the beers pictured (far left of the picture) is J. W. Dundee's Honey Brown. I recently found this beer in the local grocery store, I'm not sure if it is classified as a micro-brew. It runs about $6.50 a six pack and goes very well with a nice steak.
I'm not much of a wine drinker and prefer to try and match a beer to the meal. When I'm in the mood to do this I'll normally just pick up a six pack of the "specialty" beer for that particular meal. Other then that I just stick with the good old Miller Lite, unless I'm at Hedo (like I'll be in about five days) then of course it's Red Stripe.

This place is right next door to my gym (The Sports Center at The Chelsea Piers is Pier 60); I've had dinner at CBC quite a few times and recommend it -- while the fare is mostly your typical pub food, they do serve a large menu of beers (the place is also a brewery, as the name might imply). Particularly nice is going there during the summer and eating/drinking outside -- since it's right on the piers, you have a nice view.

We have many micro breweries around here but I don't care for that type of beer. The big one out here is called Racer 5 brewed by Bear Republic Brewing. I still preffer a Corona over anything else.
Like Hank we will be at Hedo in 4 days and the Red Stripe does just fine there.
Joe.

What does this have to do with vacations and travel? It's the lead article in the travel section of the New York Times. I thought it useful and interesting so I posted it. travel.nytimes.com/2007/11/25/travel/25weekend.html?8dpcGeri and I are frequent travelers to the city and use the Times as a guide. Public TV station WNYC is very good also. It makes you get out a pen and paper to list places to visit here.

No way. Your mother doesn't work here. You guys can clean up your own messes, or revel in them.
