I think we need to invade Sandals and take the place over the next time we are all at Hedo.
While it did look quiet, that place looked really nice! The girls had a butler assigned to their room which means they probably didn't have to worry about towels or A/C problems either.
If only Sandalites got naked!

If only Sandalites got naked! Hilary Denice and I walked over there a couple of years ago. Nice resort. To bad Hedo doesn't pay attention to their neighbor's upkeep. (not that I am bitching about Hedo) A little paint and color goes a long way in making a place look clean and cheerful. Joe.

This past December Tammi and I walked down the beach past Sandals from Hedo. We were amazed. We've been to Hedo the past three years but never left the resort. Don't really have a desire to either. But we wanted to take a nice walk down the beach one afternoon. Just as soon as we passed the little fence onto Sandals property it was like another world. The beach was beautiful. Nice looking chairs. Gorgeous buildings. A bar right there on the beach. For us, the biggest drawback seemed to be all the couples sitting by themselves not socializing. Seemed a bit boring to us, but hey, if you wanted a nice, quiet vacation for relaxing, it looked like a great place.
Mike
P.S. Both a good friend of Tammi's and her Sister were married there at Sandals and absolutely loved it. Then again, if they had ventured over to Hedo, they probably wouldnt have loved sandals quite so much.

We enjoyed watching the show (just love the view when they're on the beach of the point & the island)...any excuse to see Jamaica. Sandals looked wonderful & as expected. They certainly have improved things over there (the pool rooms, in room bar, butlers!). Not my cup of tea, but it looked great for that type of vacation. Good friends are getting married in late June & just booked Sandals Negril for their honeymoon. They were over for dinner last weekend & we gave them our copy of the most recent Negril Guide & some maps & inf on things to do, restaurants, etc. I think it'll be a great spot for their honeymoon (though we certainly enjoyed ours at Hedo!!).

Hi Barry, Believe me, they've heard all about Hedo from us! And we've brought two other couples that we're friends with (and they are too) to Hedo...so they've heard plenty from them as well. They will do the walk, though I did tell them that with clothes on they will stick out like a sore thumb! I suggested they try a day pass. They are very fun & would love Hedo....very social couple & like to party. Liz
