Just watched a very interesting 47 minute movie on Netflix Streaming. It was a film adaptation of the H.P.Lovecraft classic short story, "The Call Of Cthulhu." This was a prototypical horror story written in the 1920s. Lovecraft is notoriously difficult to bring to film, but this 2005 version is a silent, black and white, less-than-an-hour production that is very creepy, very captivating, and very true to both the details and the spirit of the original short story. I recommend all horror fans give it a look! [In case you aren't familiar with the story, it is the tale of a scientist tracking down tales from all over the globe of great, dread beings from another dimension that will eventually destroy the earth, the galaxy, and yeah even the universe itself!] www.imdb.com/title/tt0478988/referenceNote: the poster is in color, but the actual movie is in B&W.
