Just finished this book. Fairly light reading, and being a memoir a bit self-indulgent at times... as the author readily admits, that is what a memoir is for.
HOWEVER, after reading this book Simon Pegg has jumped to the top of my "God I wish I had an evening to spend at a pub and kick back a pint of four with this guy" List.
Hugely entertaining with his thoughts on "Quantum Attraction" between individuals, and the way events in his life kept looping back to certain relationships and events. How his love for "Dawn of the Dead" evolved into his making "Shaun of the Dead" which fed back to being a cameo zombie in "Land of the Dead".
He also spins off a story involving his super hero alter ego that appears periodically.
Fun read, great summer reading and as I said, someone I wish I could have a beer with.
