I'm still not sure if I like Google+ or not in general, but I did find one excellent use for it. If you have it on your Android (I presume it works the same for iPhone), you can turn on a feature called "instant upload." Then, whenever you take a photo with your phone's camera, it gets automatically uploaded to a private album at your Google+ account. From there, you can share it or not as you prefer.
Actually, "automatic upload" would be a better term for it than "instant upload," as I've found it usually takes a few minutes to appear. But still, that's pretty nice and saves a lot of steps that would otherwise be necessary.
Anyone else using this?

No, I have the apps for G+, Facebook & Twitter installed on my phone, but never use them because I never post updates from my phone; when I want to check my Twitter feed (both on my phone and PC), I use Tweetdeck.

Yeah, I like Tweetdeck, too, on both the phone and the PC.

Thanks for the heads up on this Jake. I just installed the Google + app on my iPhone to make use of this very feature having previously found Google + to be of little interest or use to me. The iPhone does of course make use of Apple's iCloud online backup but I find it very hit and miss as to whether the contents of my phone actually do get uploaded or not.
