A recent thread revealed that we have a lot of Android users on this here message board. Do any of you have a favorite browser that you use?
I know that Android has a stock browser, that it is pretty fast and minimalistic, and works just fine. But there are many others that offer fuller feature lists, or various other performance enhancements. I recently downloaded the "Miren" browser, which has certain advantages over the stock browser, including tabs.
So, do you have a favorite? (or, for Simon, a favourite?) Just curious! There seem to be a lot of options out there.......Jake

To be honest, I hadn't even considered other browser options for my phone; maybe now I'll start looking into them.

I did a Google search on "best Android browser" and found lots of articles. Some browsers are Flash capable, some are not. Some use a "pre-rendering" service where the browser company's own servers do the processing that a computer would normally do on a page, then send the raw bits to the phone (thus saving processing time). Some offer tabs, or gesture navigation, or syncing with your desktop browser. Lots of variables.
Several articles mentioned a Chrome for Android that would be "coming soon," but nobody mentioned having actually seen it. That would be interesting.

I tried out Firefox Sync, which syncs with Firefox on your desktop, but I didn't like it and went back to Safari (the browser shipped with the iPhone) which seems fine for my needs.
