Anyone using the latest cloud drive service from the folks at Google? It's much like any other cloud drive, I imagine, except that it is just for music (I think), and they give you GOBS of space. You can store 20,000 songs for free! (For Gordon: that's equal to 20000 songs.) Also, it integrates very nicely with Android (and the Android Market for music), naturally.
I uploaded some music from my hard drive just to test it out, but didn't really expect to have much use for it. But then I went to my office, found myself jonesing for some Dean Martin Christmas music, and popped on his "Season's Greeings" album which I uploaded this morning.
Of course, the advantage of on-line storage is that you don't have to tote around a hard drive full of stuff, but the disadvantage is that you can only access it when you are on-line. I guess it makes a nice balance to have some local storage and some cloud storage, so you can always get to something.
Anyone else try it? Or do you have a better on-line music storage strategy?

At least you did indicate that it was 20,000.00 songs. Its good to round off. Of course in some countries that should be 20.000,00 songs. To avoid the confusion, I'll stick to 20000

According to the on-line hype, you can even listen WHILE OFF LINE! I thought, this I gotta see. The directions are simple: once you upload your music, you can click on "listen off line" and it downloads the music to your device.
Hello, McFly??? I just *uploaded* this data from my device. Now you're letting me re-download it so I can listen off line? Talk about stretching for features to brag about.....
