If you never answered the phone, or called the number back, how do you know it was a scam? E-Verify is actually calling businesses to verify info. It's stupid, I admit, because most people will not give info over the phone.

I enter any number I do not recognize into google. If its a scam, there are plenty of websites where others have recorded their experiences with the user(s) of that number. Enter the number posted and see what you get.
Also, if it is a legit call, and they really need to get ahold of me, they can leave a message and I will call them back. If its not important enough to leave a message, its not important enough for me to call back.

My first received phone call this morning was a salesman taking a random shot. It pisses me off because the mornings are usually the most hectic and this character pretends it"s not a sales call and dances around until he has to admit he's trying to sell me security equipment.
Really???!!! Does he think people want to hear this sh*t first thing at 8:00 a.m.
