Thanks for the review -- a little surprising. I now wish I'd spent more time at their WhiskyFest exhibit because you've got me curious. Since you characterize it as rather light, I'm guessing that you only tried it neat and not with a little water -- or did you? Also, no mention of the nose -- is that because there's nothing to mention?

No I am not. We are usually picking grapes full speed by then. If it happens to be a Saturday night that we are not picking I do plan on going. Read it again Joe, there's a bunch of stuff going on there I seen the Welch to go with the grape juice comment.

Also, no mention of the nose -- is that because there's nothing to mention? You are correct, I was tasting neat. It is my normal drinking/tasting method. I suppose, to be fair, that I should try it with a dash of water. Regarding the nose, I have found that my sense of smell is the least developed of my senses (something that should be a concern to those around me as I become an old man). So I rarely find that my interpretation of a scotch's "nose" is what others detect.

The "Last Vatted Malt" looks like a bottle Id love to get my hands on. Given its available only in Europe means that is unlikely.
Edited: Well, two bottles, one to drink, one to hold on to.
