Last night my brother left for Iowa to go on a hunting trip. That leaves me all alone in the office for a week.
I don't know whether to crank the music, download porn or crack open a beer (although it's only 11:07 a.m.).
Maybe I'll just go on an estimate and party tonight watching game 7!
Enjoyed that game so much last night, great baseball.

My understanding is that Iowa has a lottery for hunting and you are only eligible once every 4 years. It's been 8 years since he was there and he's an avid outdoorsman. He was thrilled to go and I don't blame him. I'll get my chance at one point or another but I'll be going to a beach.

And why would they hunt Iowans?

What do they hunt in Iowa? Deer and fowl. But right now, most likely geese, turkey, and pheasant. Edited: As for Iowans, the mere fact that they exist is best reason to hunt them, and most in Wisconsin (and Minnesota) regard it as an open season.

What do they hunt in Iowa? Trophy class white tail deer with bow and arrow. I dont hunt and prefer 2 legged dear.

And why would they hunt Iowans? Although controversial, it's to help keep the republican population at a safe level. However nothing goes to waste as they taste delicious and are fun to mount.

That dovetails nicely with the general attitudes of most of the previously mentioned Wisconsinites and Minnesotans. Just be sure to find a good taxidermist for mounting those trophy kills

The strange part is I could get an 8 or 10 pointer on my patio. They don't move until you walk right up to them.

I have six that have been invading my yard all summer. Most of the flowers have been sheared off at one time or another. We go out and yell at them, and all they do is snort in return... I suppose that is "Garcon" in deer talk

Same here, a decent garden is out of the question. I had lettuce growing in a large container 6 feet from the kitchen door and that was eaten too. Edited to add; eaten by deer not republicans.

I have found that the latter can be a bit gamey if not processed properly

I prefer two legged also. Never could shoot a deer and we have trophy sized deer in our yard too. The first weekend of deer season is a good time to pick up married ladies at the local bars.
