I'm in a Jamaican woman's HUD apartment and she's complaining up a storm about her lack of freedom here as opposed to Jamaica. So far she didn't mention anything about the free apartment and welfare funds she gets. BTW, the apartment is a very nice garden unit with complete amenities including free transportation to shopping.
What am I doing wrong......

Every time Ive gone to Jamaica the bus has been free... so have the drinks, dinner, diving, and the towels (when available), so I think I understand her complaint.

I've heard similar complaints from Russian immigrants at a building I visit often. They can barely speak a few words in English but they complain about the country and New York State services.
At least we have a good selection andsupply of quality vodkas and toilet paper.

I have never spent a dollar in Jamaica. Gee I wonder how all those employees get paid with SuperClubs hoarding all that money in the States. Seriously, it gets me when I hear guests at Hedo saying "Hey it's free"....when it's really only included. This scenario is not to be confused with those people who make a living off of the tax payers here at home. I finance lots of apartment buildings with Section 8 tenants. Many of these government assisted tenants have the biggest TV screens, computers, IPads and IPhones. The stay at home moms have fancy manicures, trendy clothing and the latest cell phones. Most of them never took a home econnomics class, trash their unit and complain that the landlord should fix it up. I'm guessing that Gary has witnessed this too.

They're not buying that stuff with money from public assistance. They're either stealing it or buying it with money made from dealing drugs, pimping or hooking.
And why did you need that explained to you?

The housing is actually for seniors so there's no stealing or drugs, however I do work at an apartment complex which is at poverty line. That place is another story, not HUD assisted, just fight for survival people. That place is full of bad goings on.

Anita, relax, of course I know the bus ride is not free, nor are the drinks or the food. But I do get inestimable joy in knowing that others are helping to pay for my diving.

And why did you need that explained to you? Or, they are paying for it with money they are NOT spending on rent, because the rest of us are paying their rent for them.
