Just got back from what was for all intents an purposes a great weekend!! We flew out to Dallas to attend a wedding of the daughter of Rhonda's first cousin. Rhonda's Dad's Sister's Daughter's Daughter got hitched!! And it was a great wedding!! A most interesting one that took place at the Texas Theater! The first 15 minutes or so was a composite of several movie scenes regarding marriage that was done in a most EXCELLENT fashion! An ovation followed!! The wedding was at the Texas Theater!Check the link to read about the storied history of the place. It really is incredible. I have to admit, I had a bit of a hard time getting beyond the fact this was the place that Lee Harvey Oswald was captured by the Dallas Police. At one time, the seat he was in was marked so anyone visiting could see exactly where he was! They have since removed that, but the seat is still there. I had VERY mixed emotions the whole time the wedding and party was going on. I remember that fateful day in 1963 and often wonder where we would be had it never happened. I can say that the wedding and party was WONDERFUL! I can also say I had shivers up my spine for no reason other than the history and what might have been but for Lee Harvey Oswald. I wanted to ride down to Elm Street, but I thought Rhonda might think I was weird or something. Maybe one day . . .

"Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good time in Dallas with all this stuff!"
(I'll bet BB recognizes that line without Googling it)

Bob... Any reason they took the sign off the seat Oswald sat in?
Edited: I have no doubt that if you suggested a ride down Elm Street, Rhonda's concern would mostly revolve around her being collateral damage
