In my Italian family, we have a traditional recipe called Easter Pizza. It is traditionally made and consumed around Easter time (no shit!). It isn't really pizza in the traditional sense, but more of a stuffed bread. My grandmother used to make it, and my mother still makes it. But, my mother is getting to the age where she'd just as soon pass these traditions along to the next generation. So, today, we had a "pass the torch" session, where she taught all of her kids how to make this fabulous traditional comestible. I took lots of notes, and lots of photos. I posted them at Facebook rather than here because, frankly, it's a lot EASIER there. But they also make it easy to share stuff. So, if you are interested, just click the link below and you will see all the steps needed to produce this fine Italian delicacy. By the way, Merlot Joe and any other Italians around here: is this recipe familiar to youse guys? Do you have similar recipes or traditions in your family? I'm never sure how deeply rooted or widely spread these kind of "traditions" really are.......Jake www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.219497438068806.62598.100000256549168&l=f391c40fd8
