Which one is the best? I am currently using IE8. Anything better?
Anyone using the new Firefox 4?

IE 9 is almost out -- I read a positive review of it recently, I'll try to see if I can dig it up, but you could probably find a few yourself via Google. EDITED TO ADD: If you're still running WinXP, however, you won't be able to upgrade to IE9.
That said, for my personal use, I prefer Chrome because I found it to be more lightweight than previous Firefox releases, but I have not tried FF version 4 (I like Chrome too much at this point to consider returning).

I use Firefox at home (I think it's version 3.something) and Chrome at work. My work computer is too old and decrepit to run the recent versions of Firefox with any kind of speed. You wouldn't catch me using IE with a gun to my head!

I have to use IE at work for anything where I need to run the company's products because that's the only Web browser we currently support. Any other Web surfing I do on the side, I use Chrome.
On my home PC, I strictly use Chrome and only run IE when I need to, which is increasingly rare.

Chrome has some nice advantages, like you can call up a right-click search from within a text box (Firefox won't let you do that). But it is worse for finding text in a page; the "find" dialog keeps going away when you ch-ch-change pages.

True, I just tried that. Never noticed that until you mentioned it just now -- but then again, I don't often perform the same string search on multiple pages ... but even if I did, it's fairly easy to bring it back up again either via menu or keyboard. However, if you're doing it across a whole bunch of pages, I can see how it would be annoying. I have the opposite issue with IE -- I get annoyed that the Find dialog DOESN'T disappear when I move to another page. And therein lies the age-old Software Engineering problem of satisfying requirements from a large and diverse user base.
