I think you have a couple of errors in there. It looks like Jake & I modified mid afternoon yesterday and you were probably working off our original lists.
For example I swapped out Delores Hope and picked up Seve Ballesteros. And I think Jake liked my Harmon Killebrew pick so he tossed someone off his list for Harmon.
I would think that for the size of the annual dues around here we could expect semi perfection with this stuff.

I didn't pick Harmon from your list; I got him off my daily Google news "celebrity cancer" alert. I put him in instead of Dick Clark.

So you like my pick. I think you made an excellent choice on Killer. I always think aging baseball players are a solid guess. They physically abused their bodies for a lifetime and most were heavy drinkers and/or smokers for extended periods of time.
Killebrew, Frank Robinson, Roberto Clemente, etc. were the last age of true ball players before the coddled generation came along. I miss that era. It was the beginning of my love for the game.

Sorry about that guys. At 5:30 this morning, in my haste to put what I had up on the board, I failed to see the edit post indications. Mea Culpa... fixed !

She's got one foot in the grave already!
Pete Postlethwait, who none of us picked, is completely dead, though. Maybe Kaiser Soze got him?

I wonder how Robbie the Robot is holding up? Could have been the big miss of the year.

Despondent after a suicide attempt upon being informed of her passing, Robbie is now heavily sedated.

He once sang "Stuck In The Middle" and now he's been stuck in a mud hole.

Actually, "Stuck in the Middle" was sung by band-mate Joe Egan. He and Gerry had very similar voices.

He finally found a way to buy a plot of land, give up the booze, the one night stands, settle down in a quiet little town and forget about everything.

This one is really sad, it's like losing a childhood keep sake. The last of The Ozzie and Harriet show bites the dust. I used to like that show. This is really showing my age. LINK

I know that the show was long ago, but it's still hard to believe that one of the kids was that old!

It started in '52 which was 4 years before I was born so that was 59 years ago. That means David Nelson was 15. Time pass on fast when you are having a good time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ricky's DC3 crashed up in east Texas a few years back. Investigators theorized that someone was freebasing cocaine on board and started a fire. Who knows? Likeable family.

Ricky's DC3 crashed up in east Texas a few years back. Investigators theorized that someone was freebasing cocaine on board and started a fire. Who knows? Likeable family. You can tell when age is creeping up on you when "a few years back" = 25 years In 1981 or 1982, I contracted with a company to obtain a block of oil and gas leases for them. This business entails some title work and dealing with parties ranging from Exxon-Mobil to dirt floor hillbillies. One old lady was the widow of a farmer and lived in a small farm house near Good Springs, Texas. We chatted and she asked if I had driven from Henderson. I told her that I had and she commented that it was a shame about the man being killed on the highway. I told her that I hadn't heard about this and she told me that the man was ch-ch-changing a flat tire and was crushed between the rear of his car and another which rear ended it, apparently driven by an inattentive motorist. Finally, she said something about a brand new Model A. I asked when the accident occurred and she told me that it was around 1928, but just seemed like yesterday. Maybe we will all be in her shoes some day.
