Thank you, one and all. And especially my sweet Honey-Lamb!!
I'm celebrating my birthday by being stuck in a hotel room in the middle of nowhere PA, and to sweeten the pot even further, their broadband is out today! So I'm celebrating EXTRA HARD on an AOL dial-up connection! Yeah!!
huh-huh... I said "extra hard!"
Oh well, you don't turn 32 every day of your life!......Jake
P.S. - for the last 27 years, I used to enjoy knowing that I shared my birthday with the Pope. I'm going to miss that. It's just not the same sharing your birthday with Dobie Gillis and Czar Nicholas II.

Hazel, did you get a Birthday Suit for him this year? ;D ;D Nah, I didn't get him a new one. The one he came with is still in pretty good shape. So what are you now, pushing 26? ;D Gee, I hope not. I'd feel too much like Mrs. Robinson. Besides, no 26-year-old could possess the qualities I love so much in my sweet baby: maturity (though he'd deny it), knowledge (both trivial and significant), the perfect balance between sweetness/evil, romance/depravity, and civility/sarcasm. Then there's that great "movie phone guy" voice of his. And ... oh yeah, he's a pretty good kisser, too. Better than the guys I kissed when I was 26. Oh well, you don't turn 32 every day of your life!......Jake 32, my ass! ;D

This thread reminds me of a joke I always think of on my birthday. It should probably go on the joke forum, but what the fuck. Here it is:
A young man is writing in his journal on his birthday: "I am 20 years old today, and I'm so horny and so virile, I can't bend my penis, even with both hands!"
Ten years later, he's still keeping up the journal: "I'm 30 years old today, and I still can't bend my penis with both hands!"
On his fortieth birthday, he writes: "I'm 40 years old today, and I STILL can't bend it with both hands!"
He maintains the journal all his life. Finally, many years later, he enters: "I'm 80 years old today. And I finally bent it! I must be getting stronger!!"
.... ;D...... Jake (he must have been Eye-talian)

I'm sure Jake is joking whenever he says that, especially since he's poking fun at his own paisanos. Didn't you know he's of "I"-talian heritage, too? I was pretty sure old Jake was joking,at least he better be since he is eye-talian ;D to. Was just letting everyone else know. Joe.

A new broom cleans the floor fast, but an old broom knows all the corners. Now that is Gospel! Cuz well-kept "corners" are what lets you know the sweeping was a job well done! Let the chu'ch say Amen! Carla

A new broom cleans the floor fast, but an old broom knows all the corners. And vacuum cleaners just plain suck.
