Before anyone even comments, I am not very happy with these images... These were shot in a bar and there was a drunk giving the model a hard time, the model showed up STONED on top of that her hair was all fucked up looking. So yeah... tough shoot.

Man I can't EVEN believe you went through with it. Next time she shows up like that, call me. I don't want her wasting your time. I can help. Trust me. I'm a doc. Yea, that's the ticket . . . .

Wouldnt it have been better to cancel the shoot under those circumstances, rather than take photos that would not reflect positively on your reputation? One of the first lessons I learned in business is "When to say no" to a job or contract.

RH, Gordon beat me to it. You need to know when to say no, and never to compromise your talent and creativity.
An open bar is a non-starter... the last thing you need is drinkers leering at your model and making her feel uncomfortable, let alone some drunk giving her a hard time. Arrange to use the place before it opens so you have the run of the place with no distractions, unless you actually need people in the background as 'extras' in your shots, in which case only have them there when you actually need them and brief them well on what you want from them ie 'act natural' 'all stand in a line' etc.
As for the model, do NOT put up with unprofessional behaviour. If she turns up stoned, drunk or with a surly/jealous boyfriend in tow then send her home because she's no good to you. If she wants to be taken seriously she needs to act professionally, and even if the shots are just for her own portfolio if they end up looking like crap do you really want her showing them to people and telling them you took them? I ran a model agency a few years ago, and even the hardest drinking, pot smoking, coke sniffing girls on our books turned up for assignments sober and clear headed and were always 100 percent professionals on the job. You are trying to build your own reputation as a photographer and the last thing you need is some silly girl undermining you.

Simon As far as the bar, it is NORMALLY empty... and was for the most part... it was just the drunk and the bartender... As far as the model, after setting everything up and waiting I at least wanted to shoot a few images if nothing more than to test some lighting within the bar... which I did get done. If I got a couple of usable images so be it.. As far as the model... this was only a trade shoot and there is NO WAY I would EVER recommend her to anyone after showing up late and STONED!! If I would have been paying her... there is NO WAY we would have proceeded.

Hey, I love to play pool. Some of my best times at Paradise Lakes was playing with ladies who showed up stoned. Of course, it helps that we were already nekkid to begin with. Never dawned on me to take their picture, though.
Man, I must be missing something . . .

It's no big deal for an artist in a casual situation to loosen up with a drink before they get started (IMHO). Additionally, I think the first picture is very good. The play of darkness versus light on either side of her face, the sexy pose with ripped jeans adds sensuality too. I also like the way the bracelet hangs higher on her arm and even her grip on the pool cue is just right. Her facial expression and the sexy shape/position of her lips are also poignant for the scene to.
I don't know photography like you guys even though I dabble in it, but I know what I like and sometimes a great picture just lands on you.
This might be the case. Show me Sexy!
What can I say, I see all goodness here.

Yes she certainly is young but we're looking at the sum total of the picture. Probably any female in the same picture who could project provocatively would net the same result. (I think)
The picture could be an ad for many things.

Oh yes, I wanted to mention I know 2 construction workers that MUST be stoned all day and night. Both function at work although it's beyond me how they do it.
Both have to communicate with many people, take on huge responsibility yet are lighting up the moment they get in the car for work, 5:00a.m.! One is convinced the entire world smokes and offers to get high with nearly anyone.
