I've always liked to keep a running list of restaurants, diners, etc., that I've eaten at, mostly so I can scan the list later when I can't think of any place I want to go. Lately, I've started doing it at Yelp, which is stored on-line, easy to see my own listings, and helps out fellow diners as well. And of course I go there to find help with new places. Anyone else? I'm pretty sure they are nation-wide, and even in the UK, but I'm not sure how widespread they are beyond that.

I've heard of it, but haven't really looked at it until/unless it comes up in a Google search when I'm looking for restaurants. Now that you bring it up, maybe I'll take a closer look next time I'm looking -- usually, I just do a look - up on CitySearch.

I've also heard of it, but I use Square Meal when I'm looking for, or checking out, somewhere to eat. I did however see that Yelp features businesses in other sectors, and that my own business is listed there. So I plan to update our profile and cajole (or beg if I have to) a few of my customers into writing favourable reviews. So thanks for the heads up Jake. Simon

Sounds like a great membership renewal campaign theme, especially to get back some of those who are missing
