You all remember the story, I'm sure. The short version: A young man is brash enough to fall in love with the Princess, and she likewise falls in love with him. The King objects, and sentences the young man to brutal justice: he must choose one of two doors, behind one of which is a beautiful Lady whom he must then marry; and behind the other of which is a ferocious tiger which will eat him on the spot. The Princess manages to secretly find out which is behind which door. At the last moment, she motions to the young man which door to open. Trusting her implicitly, he opens it. What came out of the door? And why? Your answer, of course, says more about yourself than it does about any of the characters in the story. The long version: www.geocities.com/Athens/Oracle/3499/lady.htm
