Beautiful place Gordon. I envy you and the flat property - this hill I have is driving me bonkers.
Before I saw the bird feeders my first thought was "So THIS is the TNMC Community Cemetery!"
I'll try to post some East Texas fall pics - if Fall ever gets here.

Dan Well, its a multipurpose area, and if you cant stand the thought of spending eternity with a bird feeder support post in your groin, well, you better look elsewhere. ;D

Nice pictures Gondon, great colors and I was taken back by the snow fall. I can't believe it's that cold already. It's funny that you and Dan kicked around a cemetery idea, I took pictures to post of just that.

Beautiful pictures. All of them! I don't miss a cold winter, but I really do miss the ch-ch-changing of the seasons.
Thanks for sharing,
Deb

That shit looks cold but the trees and hills are nice. They haven't changed colors yet here.

Thanks all. I was right about the leaves coming down. We did get more than 2 inches today (more expected overnight), which for the most part melted except on the deck, BUT the driveway is covered with leaves, a lot of which were aspen leaves that had only slightly changed from green to yellow.

We went for a walk down Michigan Avenue today to see if there was any Fall scenery out and about. The trees are starting to turn, but nothing spectacular yet. But the Fall flowers are out in force up and down the Mag Mile: And this next one isn't particularly Autumnal, but was still interesting. A giant sculptural replication of Grant Wood's famous painting, "American Gothic"

I don't think Homeland Security will let him take that pitchfork on board as a carry - on.
