I have had a browser issue develop this year, and I am looking for some ideas.
On some sites, none of my browsers work properly. It only happens for specific webpages within particular site5 (I can name 5 specific webpages off hand, with many others Ive forgotten). Its repeatable. The symptoms are pretty consistent, it happens while loading the page banner following a web page that takes input information (like a reservation page), on both of my computers (one XP, one Vista), with add-ons available or turned off, with the firewall on or off...
* Firefox (screenshot below) either stops loading the page and indicates it is done loading OR it begins open new blank tabs as fast as possible (it usually crashes after several hundred tabs if I dont/can't interrupt it), this happens in either v3.0.13 or v3.5
* Internet Explorer is better behaved, it stops with an error screen indicating that there is either a connection problem or the web site is down
*Chrome indicates that the web site may be down or moved to a new address
Problem with the last two bits of info, Ann can access the sites from her office via a different ISP.
I am leaning towards it being an issue with my ISP, but would appreciate any ideas on other possible diagnostics to try before attempting their support crew.
ANY IDEAS? (Apologies for the image size, I couldnt make it much smaller and keep it legible)
BTW- this particular page is the reservations.uhaul.com/resweb01/?src=banner , the error occurs after entering information into the fields on this page and attempting to load the results page
