Yesterday I had a Windows patch notice come up. I installed the patch and thought nothing more of it.
This morning ALL Google searchs, on all browers come back with a "403- Forbidden" error tab and the following message
Concluding with a small box of characters you have to type in to bypass the security... and guess what, google.com wont accept the characters typed into the box as legit. At this point you are in a closed loop.
I started this in Firefox. After wiping the WTF look off my face and running anti-virus and anti-spyware as recommended (coming up clean), I fired up IE. To my surprise BING is now the default search engine and all references to Google have been wiped from the IE interface. The conspiracy portion of my brain kicked in and I manually went to google.com in IE and got the same results shown above AND bing.com works just fine in Firefox.

Anyone else seen this after installing the latest Microsoft update? If so, do you know of a work around?
