I'm back from Hedo and ButtCrack. It was simply an awesome time. One of the best I can remember. I've been slammed at work and haven't had much time for this or the 'other' board.
I do want to share some shocking news I received this morning.
USP Mikey in the hospital. He suffered a heart attack yesterday while running his UPS route. Fortunately one of his customers, a doctor, recognized the systems and called 911. He is doing better today and is awaiting tests to determine what has caused this, however he is in ICU. The only other info. I have at this time is that he is at Staten Island University Hospital South. He will be there until Thursday, then, if he still needs to be in the hospital, he will be transferred to Staten Island University Hospital North.
He was simply the life of the party during ButtCrack with an energy level that simply can't be explained. It's so shocking to here this news. Please keep him in your prayers.

What Jake said. Thanks for filling us in Anita. He is probably pretty lucky that he had a delivery to someone that recognized the symptoms and got him help before it was too late.

I always enjoy reading his stuff on both boards and hope a full recovery is in the cards. This sure sounds like a workers comp claim to me with some extended R&R at Hedo being mandatory!
I always enjoy when the boys in brown make deliveries to us. They are all high energy and I don't think that I have ever met one with a sour disposition. I am sure Mike is a poster boy for this type of attitude.

I am sure Mike is a poster boy for this type of attitude. That's for sure. I don't think I've ever been at Hedo with Mikey, but I've met up with him in NYC several times for various parties and functions. He is very high-energy, always up-beat, and lives life to the fullest. An essential ingredient for any party!

I want to thank each and everyone of you for the kind thoughts and well wishes. I have to pass on the word of advice. The doctors all said, the reason I didn't have damage and lived for that matter, was because I listened to my body and took action. I wasn't feeling that well going to work Monday. I felt guilty calling in because I just had 2.5 weeks off. I took 2 325mg aspirin before I got onto my garbage scow, i mean ups truck. So now i am feeling great. After a couple of hours the shit starting hitting the fan. I pulled over, took another aspirin but i was sinking fast. I found a shadie spot, dowsed my self with water and hung out. I was on a doctors lawn and he actually shouted out, you just had 3 weeks off and you are taking the sun on my lawn, you got some set of balls and started laughing. I waved him to come out. He said i think you need an ambulance. I agreed and the rest is history. The bottom line is, carry aspirin with you at all times. If you feel a little strange or out of the ordinary, take the aspirin, it might save your life!!! So, I am feeling great. Can't wait to get back to work. The Dr. said a few weeks to recover and I am as good as new. Thanks again
Mikey

Mickey,
I'm so glad you're out of the hospital and doing better. I've heard that about aspirin. It's a good idea to carry it with you for sure - Randy does too.
I hope you're in full racing form and back to work soon!
Hugs,
Colleen

It was one hell of a vacation Max and thanks pixie dust. One of the high lights of the vacation was sitting at a new lo-cal that we invented. Dicks cafe. We took a table and umbrella set up from the goat grill and planted in the waters just between the jetty and the beach. Got some chairs and floats- Dicks cafe - where the possessed go to meet!. One early afternoon I brought out the peachuck thread by B.B. What a fuckin laugh

Good to hear you are feeling well again. Thank god that you ended up on a doctor's lawn! I am glad that as bad as everything was that it worked out alright! I know someone else who swears they wouldn't be hear except for the aspirin. Thanks for the heads up, Mikey.
