As a long time fan of House, I was shocked by Monday nights show (which got my attention after the basketball game became a sure thing 10 minutes in), as much as anyone, and it was gut wrenching since it it dealt with the unknowns involved with suicide, the death of Dr Kutner (played by Harold and Kumar's Kal Penn). Characters have been killed off from shows for a long time, but never in quite so dramatic fashion, and never as such a surprise. Usually the infogrid is alive with rumors that an actor was unhappy, or wanted more money than they were worth, but there was nothing on this. Yesterday, the rest of the story came out Fox came out with a "memorial" to Dr Kutner on their web page... rather tacky if you ask me.

Damn, I missed House this week! Just what we need...another actor in politics! I guess acting qualifies him to be an "Associate Director of Public Relations"? But then again he may have just as many (or more) qualifications as anyone else working in that office. As Chris would say...Sheeeesh

Bigtime pay cut, but I bet he has bigger ambitions. I guess there is a run for Congress in the next few years.
