re: 13th....Don't say that! I had a diagnostic mammogram for a suspicious lump on the 13th! Yikkers! But I'm really not worried...I plan to die on the toilet like Elvis from a massive coronary or stroke.

For any such test, it seems that the waiting time is tougher than the results.

I will be sending positive vibes to that mamogram

Back when I was about 18 or 19 I got in a bad car accident on Friday 13th and ended up in hospital. The police report stated that the accident took place at 12.47pm, which is 13 minutes before the 13th hour (on the 13th).

I think 13-2 is one of those new digital TV sub-channels.

Sounds like some folks are suffering from an acute case of triscadecaphobia. Isn't that where you have a little curve in your dick? No, that would be Peyronie's disease -- although any curve in *my* dick by definition would HAVE to be little, so that characterization is somewhat redundant.

I think 13-2 is one of those new digital TV sub-channels. Or the name of a character on one of those Sci-Fi TV shows.

Sounds like some folks are suffering from an acute case of triscadecaphobia. I was born on Friday the 13th...just a few minutes after the the 13th hour had passed. Soooooo...I am definitely not afraid.

I haven't said anything out of respect to the pair who lost their home, their things, and their cat, because they don't know me, or me, them. But I've felt compassion, like everyone else.
A lot of my special things are in piles and boxes and scattered everywhere, and I'm trying to get them organized. But that's a continual problem. I procrastinate and I spread out. But what if all of it were gone - wiped out? Kind of gives me a little inspiration to get to work on it, and get some of the things to my kids and grand-kids.
But here's wishing for y'all that from here on out, there are 100 times the number of special memories to hold onto and build onto. Today is special.

I am a little behind in replying, but I just saw the message on Jef and Laura. You two and your family are definitely in my prayers.
If you still need your passports - contact your congressman's office and they can expedite things for you so you will have passports in your hot little hands ASAP. Then you can take a week to forget your troubles in Jamaica for a bit and then come home refreshed to deal with the headaches.
You can also take a tour of America visiting your Hedo Friends while you rebuild - I am in San Antonio and have a spare bedroom for you two if you need it.
Take Care Hilary

You have a room up in Freedom, Wisconsin whenever you want to take your trip north! You both are in my prayers and I won't believe anything in the papers. The news likes to bend everything to make the story have more teeth to it. I am a little behind in replying, but I just saw the message on Jef and Laura. Yea! for the PussBear! I must admit, I'm truly relieved. No one had seemed too worked up about the original supposed loss of the cat, but it had made my heart clench (my being a cat lover). Hope Jef & Laura can find a home sooner than later. What an upheaval in so many ways.

Here is some good news for animal lovers. As some of you know my wife 'n' me are members of a Boxer Rescue. Last week a pregnant deaf white female Boxer was brought to a shelter. The woman who brought the dog in told the shelter workers the dog belonged to her son who had just been busted as a meth dealer. Her son used this dog as a breeder(puppie mill) to help supplement his meth lab. This lady signed the dog over to our rescue so her son could never get his hands on her again and we now have mom and 6 beautiful full breed Brindle Boxer pups. The father is a pedigree Brindle Boxer which means the pups won't be deaf. Mom and babies are doing great, their eyes should be open sometime next week.

I am so glad she was found and is going to be OK! I didn't mention the cat because as a cat lover I thought it would be harder on Muffy. I would be bereft if anything happened to one of my girls... My son just bought a French Bulldog puppy last night, I can't wait to see it.

I'm so glad to hear that the cat is ok too!! It was awful thinking that she was the only casualty - that's a blessing in all of this. I hope that things continue to improve for you guys and I've been thinking of you here! Sending prayers and white light your way too! Hope you are able to check in here soon.
Hugs,
Colleen
