It's a coming, GO GO PITTSBURGH!!!!!! I like everything about Super Bowl Sunday. The commercials, the half time show, (Bruce Springsteen this year), the food, I love it all.
Be there or be square!!!!!!

Do you think Springsteen will let a nipple slip in a wardrobe malfunction?

Here's a new Idea. I think the Super Bowl should be Saturday in prime time. You drink, eat, watch the game and don't have to get up to go to work on Monday morning. ! day more or less wouldn't make a difference.
By the way I am going to pull for the Cardinals. They never been there before and someone completely new will win the Championship.
Joe.

How about we take off half a day on Thursday to set up for a long holiday weekend - with both Friday and Monday off.

Actually, we should have the entire week off, with one day being designated as Media Day, just like they do with the teams.

If you can scrape the money together, this might be the year to go.. tickets relatively cheap due to the economy (and maybe a bad pairing) Bloomberg

Actually, we should have the entire week off, with one day being designated as Media Day, just like they do with the teams. Maybe we can talk our congress people into a bailout. We need to off so we can recover and yet we need to be paid just as if we went to work.

I think I heard the ultimate, and very plausible solution to this.
MOVE FATHERS DAY to Super Bowl Sunday.
Everyone knows that, when stacked up against Mothers Day, Fathers Day is one royal joke. Bill Cosby said it best in his remembrance of Fathers Day when he was a kid "Dad, give me a buck so I can buy you a pack of cigarettes for Fathers Day. Then I would smoke half the pcak on the way home, and they werent even his brand"
Moving Fathers to Super Bowl Sunday accomplishes two things.. 1) It makes the day a truly meaningful Fathers Day event for most men, and its a day they would celebrate anyway, 2) It would give those guys who arent fathers a chance to join in in solidarity withthose who are.

What if we combined Super Bowl Sunday with Steak & BJ Day?

What if we combined Super Bowl Sunday with Steak & BJ Day? But surely Super Bowl would lose it's glamor and excitement if we had it every day?

Thanks. Now that is a concept that is near to the heart of most men - no matter whom their partners or mates or chosen ones.
Now, thankfully I get steak more often than once a year, but I do see that the special day is good - especially for the men whose imaginations without fulfillment make most days a "blue Christmas."
Now I realize that the more manly among you don't need to resort to this, but I have found that my wife - a labor and delivery nurse who has long shifts on her feet - shows good appreciation when I've done a foot rub for her. A little time with exfoliating creams followed by smoothing lotions is time well spent!
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Hell Joe, I havnt been able to get to the "Can you get me a beer, PLEASE" level during the Super Bowl, steak and a BJ, without some official proclamation is WAY off the table.
In fact I think the response to a steak and BJ would be the same as the request for a beer.... "GET IT YOURSELF"

The steak part is easy, as long as I BBQ, but the BJ part is "it's Sunday afternoon are you nuts"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Joe
