I happened to run into him just last week out at Disney and spoke with him at length. He was very gracious with his time. He was with his grand kids. They were eating ice cream and we sat together on a park bench and he quietly reminisced about movie making in the old days. I had a million questions for him
Others may say he looks marvelous but I thought he looked like crap.

They'll bury him on Ceti Alpha V. Not Fantasy Island? Somewhere in heaven, Herve Villechaize is exclaiming, "Look! The hearse, boss, the hearse!"

I see Steve Jobs took an extended leave of absence today citing that his medical problems were more extensive than he originally reported.

Pancreatic cancer is a bitch. It is usually not diagnosed until the late stages. Everyone I have ever known with it does not last a long time. I do not have a good feeling for Mr. Jobs or Swayze. But I sure hope that I am wrong as can be.

Speaking of Swayze, I saw on the on-line programming guide on my cable TV system that he was to be Jay Leno's guest last night (or was it the night before? whatever). So I tuned in. Nope, no Swayze. They hurriedly yanked in David Duchovny instead.
Not a good sign!

And now comes news of Ricardo Montalban passing! This year is off to a galloping start. One of Star Treks greatest guest stars. I always like his acting. Joe.

Deadpool News. (sponsored by the Bizzarro Funeral Home)
"Amy Winehouse's father said his drug-ravaged daughter came "close to death" twice.
Mitch Winehouse said the singer was "lying in bed for days in a dark room" in the upcoming documentary "Saving Amy," according to Hello! magazine.
"She was close to death twice," he said. "We have been working a lot to get her to where she is right now."
psssst....... The Bizzaro folks say, turn it around sweetie, cause more than not three strikes and you're out.
" Actor Patrick Swayze has been released from a hospital, one week after checking himself in with pneumonia.
Publicist Annett Wolf says Swayze left the hospital and is resting at home. She would not comment further on his condition."
psssst..... The Bizzaro folks don't think he will be dirty dancing himself out of this one.
"Kennedy, 76, suffered a series of convulsions that lasted a while. He was taken out on a wheelchair and had to have his legs lifted up to get him out of the room. He was loaded onto an ambulance and taken to Washington Hospital Center."
pssssst......The Bizzaro folks say, knock knock knocking on Heaven's door here.
"Senator Byrd, 91, and in failing health, reportedly was "emotional" at the time of the collapse and security detail decided to remove him from the room as a precautionary measure. But Byrd spokesman Mark Ferrell said the West Virginia Democrat's departure was not linked to a medical issue."
psssst..... The Bizzarro folks regretfully admit that they lost the lyrics to Bye Bye Blackbird.

Are you two kidding me, we've had a body double sitting on the high bench for over a year (were in the phase out period right now) and a secret task force scouring the country for the most 'appropriate' successor for over two years.

Deadpool News. (sponsored by the Bizzarro Funeral Home)
Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro met on Thursday with Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, who said he was active and in good condition, further easing recent speculation over his health.
Bachelet said they chatted for 1 1/2 hours and that Castro, 82, peppered her with statistics and questions about Chile's economy, one of Latin America's strongest performers.
"He is in very good condition," Bachelet told Bizzaro in Havana.
psssst...... Bizzaro has reports with him one foot in the grave and reports like this one. Bizzaro close to putting Castro on the sucker bet list.
