Is anyone watching this? It starts in a couple of weeks here and it's being promoted as the biggest new show in the US. Is that right? Should I set aside the time to watch it?

Simon I meant to watch it but it slipped past me. It is from one of the creators of Lost. I did pick up this interesting tidbit online about some cow problems they were having.I think the cow union is mad and may picket the show. A cow used in the pilot episode had to be replaced in subsequent episodes due to livestock restrictions preventing it from being brought from Canada to the United States. If viewers note the difference in the cow's appearance, the production team members have said they will paint new cows to match the original.

I heard that the cow found that its TV work dried up and it ended up getting into porn and starring in some of those lesbovine action movies.

The cow recently teamed up with a rabbi to make a snuff film called, "X-treme Kosher".

Do you use a bruch, rollre, or airless sprayer? I know ask a stupid question and I will get a stupid answer. Joe

Personally I'd make a stencil, nail or staple it to the cow, then airbrush it... making sure, of course, not to get any paint in the cow's eyes.

This subject was in fact a subject for a painting from the 18th century. Note the sheep waiting its turn

OMG you're right, that's not a real cow at all. No wonder she was screaming and trying to kick me while I was painting her. Thank goodness I took the precaution of glueing her hands to that milk churn first.

OK I bit and watched it last night. or should I say I watched the first 25 minutes before I bailed. It is sorta like a cross between Lost and X Files. I am a big Lost fan and watched very little of X Files. But I just could not get into this one. I think this was the 3rd episode so maybe missing the first two put me at a disadvantage but for me I am going to pass.
I would rather watch Simon's painted cow dry.

I've been watching it. I'm into sci-fi so I like it in a weird sort of "WTF"!! sort of way. BUT NOW!!!! LIN TV which is Fox up here got in a pissing match with Time Warner demanding money for airing their channel and since TimeWarner said ... no, we don't pay for ABC, NBC and CBS. LIN TV pulled FOX from our line up, up here. No more Fringe, no Packers, no 24, no Bones, no House and no Terminator. Fuckin greedy bastards. Fox's solution is to get an attenna or switch to Dish TV. yeah, thanks, thanks alot. The news segments sucked anyway, so that could be one blessing.
However, espisodes are downloadable so I will be connecting my computer to our 56" HDTV and watching the episodes that way. It might be a second blessing anyway, since we record all of our shows and rarely watch them in real time anymore. We absolutely HATE commercials!

Well I watched the first episode last night and enjoyed it. It intrigued me enough to want to follow the story and discover what it's all about.
But WTF are those giant 3D graphics floating in the air at the start of some scenes all about??
