I was browsing around in the local Barnes and Noble (book store, in case the term isn't familiar) and they were playing a song a hadn't heard since the early 1980s. "Goody Two Shoes" by Adam and the Ants! Suddenly, a plethora of excellent eighties memories flooded back into my mind. I spent the evening downloading about a dozen "Adam Ant" (solo) and "Adam and the Ants" (group) songs from the internet. Let me know if you want a copy! Great stuff!!!.......Jake

Thanks for the reminder Jake. I didn't even realise that 'Ant Music' had crossed the pond. Poor Adam though, bi-polar disorder has taken it's toll on him : musicforafutureage.com/magazines/MOS6.jpg (click on the image to enlarge it) And one of my favourites : Simon

What, no "Desperate, But Not Serious"? No "Friend or Foe"? No "Apollo Nine"? No "Young Dumb And Full Of It"?
Man, I loved Adam and the Ants for their heavy percussion sound.
I always thought it would suck just a little bit to be a drummer for Adam Ant though. He was such a good drummer on his own that you would have to live up to how well *he* would have done it himself.
Zilla (who thinks being a drummer for Adam Ant would kinda be like being Toki Wartooth -the second fastest metal guitarist in the world- playing in the same band as Skwisgaar Skwigelf - the fastest metal guitarist in the world)
