... some of it it just plain moronic. And I will take moronic any day (low expections yield 100% satisfaction).
I am speaking of Spike TV's MXC- Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. Thursdays on Spike at 9pm (ET).

For anyone who has not seen it, it is 'based' on the globally successful "Takeshi's Castle", dubbed into English, with what might be called VERY loose translation quality standards. Lets just say that the original dialog has been completely lost and a script with scatological and sexual humor and double entendres read by the three producers substituted in its place. This is a Japanese game show where contestants are presented with a series of challenges designed to see who is capable to attack and overthrow the holders of the "Castle". Apparently over the years, only a couple of people have actually achieved the goal and won the game.
The Spike version takes this COMPLETELY out of context, edits that hell out of if and produces a sarcastic tome to all game and reality shows. The result is borderline profane, juvenile, and COMPLETELY without a single socially redeeming value... In other words, its the funniest damn show on TV.
Actually I have watched this show for a couple years, surrepticiously, when the household 'Seal of Quality TV Viewing' is lax in enforcement "YOU WATCHING THAT CRAP AGAIN!?!?" I must say that the older shows are better, and a few of the more recent copyright dates seem to be a lot more forced in attempts at humor, but still worth watching.
No other show on TV comes as close to the spirit and content of this board as MXC, which is why I would like to nominate MXC as the official TNMC TV program.
Give it a watch if you have not already, but be warned, confine drinking liquids to the commercials, unless you enjoy those liquids coming back up through your nose.
Gordon
PS... now that I think about it, Guy LeDouche just might be BB, and Captain Toneal is a prototype of Jake (or the other way around maybe)
