I used to watch Night Stalker when I was a kid. I liked the series, even though the only one I can remember was about spontaneous human combustion. It was the only one I found a little too far-fetched, even though I knew it was just fantasy. Kolchak was a pretty smart dude.

I remember that one too Hazel. Isn't that the one where he had the devil after him and he had to sleep in a church. The devil would come hangout in the windows of the church.... or was that all of them?

I loved that show too!!! Didn't you find yourself telling him "Don't go in there Kolchak!!!" I found the series on one of the satellite stations last year. I watched it a few times. It seemed so dated because it made you imagine the "bogeyman" out there. Not like todays shows. I'm not saying it's a bad thing...I personally don't like realistically gory shows. I have seen too much of it in real life.

I always thought The Night Stalker was the inspiration for X-Files. Many similarities there.......Jake

Actually, it inspired a 2 Stephen King short stories, Night Flier and Popsy.

Maybe I should create a separate "celebrity deaths" forum, so we don't end up with two (or more) dueling threads every time somebody croaks.
Nahhh, that's too anal. I'll just let 'em fall where they may. It's all part of the fun.......Jake

And besides, it gives us a use for the Link To Post feature.
