Lost premieres here in the UK in a couple of weeks. Channel 4, who will be broadcasting the show, have been promoting it heavily on air, in movie theatres and the press. Does anyone on the board watch it? Is it worth making a point to catch it?

I've never seen it, but people I know who've watched it became hooked quickly.

I've never seen it either, but it certainly does have a loyal following. I get the impression that if you liked "The X Files", you'd like "Lost" too......Jake
P.S. - there is already a "Lost" thread halfway down the page. Maybe that will help you.

Thanks Jake, I hadn't noticed the other thread as it probably didn't mean much to me at the time it was posted. I did like The X Files... from what I've seen on the promos Lost looks like it has a bit of Twin peaks to it as well. I shall make 'an appointment to view'.

HI Simon,
Lost is awesome and it is very easy to get hooked on it. It's also received a few Emmy nominations, including the cute guy who plays the ex-Iraqui soldier. I think I heard somewhere that he is British ~ are you guys all that yummy?

Simon, if you want, I'll be glad to tell you how it ends so you won't have to watch every single episode.

What a coincidence! That's how the last season of The Sopranos ended, too!

Well we decided we couldn't wait until the show started here on August 10th so I've been downloading the episodes and burning them onto DVDs. We've watched 4 so far and have episodes 5 and 6 ready to watch this evening... we're hooked!!

What a better way to watch it! Hell over here they kept having flippin reruns that I was getting pissed! I enjoyed the first season very much, hopefully they've filmed over half the new season already so they don't have to have stupid reruns all the time.
Don't read any further if you don't want a clue to the ending.
It was Timmy that fell in the well.
