You all know what a stickler I am for details, so I might as well interject this: the correct title of the Grinch book and cartoon is: How the Grinch Stole Christmas!By the way, I prefer the look of the book Grinch over the Chuck-Jones-ized TV Grinch, but maybe that's just me.......Jake

Miracle on 34th Street has always been one of my favorites.... the black and while one with (I think) Quinn and O'Sullivan.

I have a few favorites that just remind me of being a kid.
The Grinch cartoon version, however when i got to college and even to this day, we play the Grinch game. You gotta take a drink every time the dog is abused. The sled ride up the hill is worth at least 3 beers. By the time the movie is done, you've gone through almost a 6 pack in 30 minutes.
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer - I have all the characters in ornaments and also in stuffed animals (CVS sold them a few years back). A few favorite lines from that show... "she said she loves me!!!" "Herbie wants to be a dentist". and my favorite 'Bumbles bounce!"
Year without a Santa - Lee's favorite Christmas movie. Know the songs by heart. Was going to try and make costumes of the Miser brothers for Halloween.
Santa Claus is Coming to Town - I swear they made Kris Kringle look like a young Glen Campbell. Another song burned into memory "Put one foot in front of the other". Oh what were they thinking when they made the song that starts out "If you sit on my lap today, a kiss a toy is the price you pay".
A Christmas Story - I would be more than happy not to see this movie for a good 5 years. I can almost quote this one too. Lee likes the movie and I like it but every other year is good for me.
A Charlie Brown Christmas - I still am trying to perfect the dance the twins do on stage.

I thought Peter Jackson should have worked an homage to this into "The Two Towers". When Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli run into Gandalf the White near Fangorn Forest, he should have explained what happened by saying: "Didn't I ever tell you about Balrogs? Balrogs bounce!!" ;D .......Jake

I like the original grinch. When I was a small child, I had a 78rpm record of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and drove everyone nuts playing it repeatedly (even in July). I only had two other records: Tha Ballad of Davy Crockett and Purple People Eater. I'm sure that any one of the three, played enough times, could get on one's nerves.

In the Christmas movies department there is a LOT out there to loathe, take "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" (1964), the film which catapulted Pia Zadora to stardom.
And what a meteoric rise to fame that was!!!!!
I just saw "It's a Wonderful Life" for the first time and I really liked that movie. And of course "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby
